The goal of the Trust is to achieve the following broad objectives:
- To create a sense of awareness on the importance of education and its significance among the rural students and parents.
- To promote activities, which will give a level playing field in education to students from rural background.
- To enable the students make an informed choice about their future in-tune with their talent and interest.
- To provide free medical help to all children.
- To facilitate the creation of a link between the deserving students and willing donors.
- To cater to the educational requirement and monitor the development of the deserving student.
FUTURE GOALS
Short-term
In today's age, education is more about training than learning. The short-term aim is to conduct training classes for meritorious students from government and rural schools in XI and XII to bring them on par with their counter-parts in private schools. The activities will include regular tuition and other special courses.
Medium-term
The medium term objective is to improve the existing infrastructure in government and rural schools in the Theni District – both physical and human. The activities will range from sponsoring furniture, building class rooms, establishing libraries to providing training for teachers.
Long-term
The ideal target of the Trust is to establish a regular non-profit learning center for the children of the under-privileged sections of the district. This learning center will carry out all the above mentioned activities.
